Anarust Inc. is seeking a highly experienced and visionary Remote Principal Experience Designer to lead and mentor our design team. The Principal Experience Designer will be responsible for defining and championing the user experience vision across our products and services. This is a remote, senior-level position offering the opportunity to make a significant impact on our company's design direction.
Responsibilities :
Lead UX Vision and Strategy : Define and evangelize the user experience vision, strategy, and roadmap for Anarust Inc.'s products and services, aligning them with business goals and user needs.
User Research and Analysis : Oversee user research activities, including user interviews, usability testing, and data analysis, to gain deep insights into user behaviors, needs, and motivations.
Interaction Design and Information Architecture : Lead the design of intuitive and engaging user interfaces, focusing on information architecture, interaction design, and user flows.
Prototyping and Testing : Create interactive prototypes to test and validate design concepts and iterate based on user feedback.
Design System Leadership : Maintain and evolve the company's design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across all products.
Mentorship and Team Leadership : Mentor and guide other UX designers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Management : Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across different departments (product, engineering, marketing) to communicate design rationale and advocate for user-centered design principles.
Thought Leadership : Stay abreast of the latest UX trends, technologies, and best practices, and share knowledge within the team and the wider design community.
Accessibility and Inclusive Design : Champion accessibility and inclusive design principles to ensure our products are usable by everyone.
Qualifications :
Extensive experience (2 years) as a UX Designer, with a proven track record of leading and delivering successful user-centered design projects.
A strong portfolio showcasing a deep understanding of UX principles, methodologies, and best practices.
Expertise in user research methodologies, interaction design, information architecture, and usability testing.
Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to lead and mentor design teams.
Strong understanding of accessibility guidelines (WCAG).
Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote setting.
Must be located in the United States or be a U.S. permit resident.
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with design systems and component libraries.
Experience with Agile development methodologies.
Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Design, or a related field.
