Job Summary:
The IT Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing AnaVation's IT operations, including our Microsoft Office 365 environment within GCC-High, CMMC compliance, and an overarching vision for corporate IT. There is an exciting opportunity to leverage the O365 environment to support and enable the internal employees and departments. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with exceptional leadership skills to lead a team and ensure an outstanding customer service experience for end-users. This role will also include responsibility for training the user base on the AnaVation Computing Environment (ACE) and managing the annual IT budget.

Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership & Vision:
- Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for corporate IT that aligns with AnaVation’s goals
- Stay updated on emerging IT trends, tools, and technologies to ensure AnaVation remains at the forefront of innovation
- Technical Expertise:
- Hands-on management of Office 365, GCC High environments, and related tools
- Ensure compliance with CMMC, ISO, NIST, and other relevant frameworks
- Oversee cybersecurity protocols, including threat monitoring, incident response, and training initiatives
- Operational Management:
- Oversee all six core IT roles and responsibilities: Cybersecurity, Network Administration, O365/ACE Administration, Tiered Support, Asset Management, and Technical Operations
- Manage additional responsibilities in compliance, leadership, and digital experience
- User Training & Engagement:
- Develop and execute training programs for employees to effectively use the AnaVation Computing Environment (ACE)
- Ensure all employees are equipped with the knowledge and tools to maximize IT resources
- Annual IT Budgeting:
- Prepare and manage the annual IT budget, including forecasting for new tools, projects, and operational expenses
- Ensure IT expenditures align with organizational goals and provide regular budget updates to leadership
- Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team to achieve operational excellence
- Foster a collaborative and customer-centric culture within the IT department
- Customer Service Focus:
- Ensure a seamless user experience by optimizing IT systems, resolving incidents, and proactively improving services
- Maintain a strong feedback loop with employees to address and prioritize IT needs
- Project Management:
- Oversee IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives
- Collaborate across departments to implement process improvements and manage organizational change
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- 8 years of experience in IT, with at least 3 years in a managerial role
- In-depth knowledge of O365, GCC High environments, and CMMC compliance frameworks
- Proven experience in cybersecurity, network administration, and IT operations
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-first mindset
- Experience in developing and managing IT training programs for end-users
- Budget management experience, including annual forecasting and reporting
- Project management experience is highly desirable
- Ability to obtain a US Government Security Clearanc
- Experience with Service Desk management and digital workflow tools
- Familiarity with SaaS security plans, asset lifecycle management, and technical escalations
- Background in developing and maintaining IT documentation, policies, and compliance tracking
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform to include Power Automate, Power BI, Graph, and Canvas
- Familiarity with Azure Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) and related tools such as FSLogix and Nerdio
- Familiarity with migrating a mobile workforce to an updated version of Windows
- Active Secret security clearance
