What are the responsibilities and job description for the Meat Seller position at Anavery Fine Foods?
Anavery Fine Foods is looking for a hardworking, responsible person to join our team on a growing, diversified livestock farm in Grand Traverse County. Our farm’s mission is to produce great-tasting meat and eggs raised in a way that we can be proud of - we believe that Happy Animals Taste Better.
Our ideal candidate will learn a lot on our farm but should have:
- A dedication to reliability, responsibility, accountability, and a commitment to safety
- Comfort and familiarity with power and hand tools. We’re never more than an arm's reach from a tape measure, a pencil, and a drill. We’re looking for people who like this kind of thing (or who want to grow their skills).
- Comfort working closely with livestock.
- History of responsible driving.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all types of weather in all conditions
- Relevant experience: examples include vegetable growing, fruit/vineyard or farm operations, equipment operation, livestock/horse handling, 4H, framing, building, roofing, fencing, landscaping, general construction, etc.
