Job Title: RN Surgical Acute Med-surg Adult
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Surgical Acute Med-surg Adult department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing personalized patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and delivering safe and effective nursing care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitoring and maintaining patients' vital signs and medical equipment
- Providing education and support to patients and their families
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive care
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Adhering to all hospital policies and procedures to ensure patient safety and quality of care
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification (preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Surgical Acute Med-surg Adult setting
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
