About The Position
Anchin is seeking an experienced High-Net-Worth (HNW) Tax Partner to lead and expand our private client tax practice. This role is responsible for delivering strategic tax planning, compliance, and advisory services to high-net-worth individuals, families, and their related entities, including family partnerships, trusts and estates. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in complex tax matters, strong leadership and management skills, and a proven ability to drive business growth.
Responsibilities
- Ensure timely and accurate tax compliance for individual, fiduciary, and related entity tax filings while mitigating risks.
- Deep technical skills around individual and trust tax law.
- Develop and foster close relationships with clients and their advisors, providing exceptional service throughout the year.
- Identify opportunities for value added services for clients, including tax efficiencies, estate and gift planning and other related matters.
- Lead a team of tax professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, professional growth, and client service.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by building relationships with attorneys, wealth advisors, and other referral sources.
- Stay updated on evolving tax laws and industry trends impacting HNW clients, ensuring compliance and proactive tax planning.
- Work closely with estate attorneys, investment advisors, and family office professionals to provide comprehensive wealth management solutions.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, or related field.
- CPA required.
- 12 years of experience specializing in HNW tax advisory, with leadership experience.
- Deep knowledge of federal and state tax laws, estate and gift tax regulations, and wealth transfer strategies.
- Strong business development skills with a track record of growing and managing a book of business.
- Exceptional client relationship management and communication skills.
- Competitive annual salary in the range of $175,000 to $400,000 , based on individual’s experience level.
