Job Description
Our hosts are the first experience our guests have with Anchor Bar. We expect our hosts to:
- Provide a warm and welcoming first impression
- Effectively manage the waitlist and table seating procedures
- Answer the phone and direct calls as necessary. This includes taking phone orders from guests.
- Accurately distribute to-go orders to guests
- Perform opening and closing duties as required
We are the birthplace of the Original Buffalo Wing, which was created in our original location in Buffalo, NY in 1964.

What we are looking for:
- Previous restaurant experience is required.
- Must be able to work weekends.
- Texas Food Handlers certification or ability to obtain before training.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be able to stand/bend/walk for long hours.
- Lift up to 50lbs occasionally.
- Frequently twisting, lifting overhead, and reaching regularly.
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals, A/C, Heat, Freezer, Coolers.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $9.00 - $10.00 per hour
