Job Description

Anchor Bay Powder Coat has been a trusted provider of high-quality powder coat application services for the past 15 years. We proudly serve major clients such as Ford Bronco, Tesla, General Dynamics, BAE Systems, Lockheed Martin, AM General, and other prominent military manufacturers.

We are currently seeking dedicated and reliable individuals for full-time laborer positions to join our team. This entry-level opportunity offers a starting wage of $16 per hour, with the potential for a $1 raise at 90 days based on performance and attendance.

Position Details:

• Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM,
• one mandatory Saturday per month during busy times (employee’s choice of Saturday)
• Departments Available: Unload, Load and Prep
• Key Responsibilities:
• Unloading Department: Inspecting, reaming/deburring, counting, and packaging parts; accurately filling out paperwork; and organizing parts onto pallets, bags, or boxes.
• Prep Department: Media blasting, shot-blasting, hanging parts, masking and plugging parts as per blueprints, and using air tools such as angle grinders and palm sanders. Completing necessary paperwork and ensuring all parts are prepared for coating.
• Load Department: Hanging parts on production line safe and efficiently, masking and plugging parts as per blueprints, Counting parts and working well in a team or on independent tasks
• Must work efficiently and maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail.
  

Qualifications:

• Strong work ethic, honesty, and reliability
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members
• Mechanical skills or knowledge preferred, with troubleshooting abilities
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and maintain a professional appearance
• Hi-Lo experience a plus but not required
• Ability to read and understand job orders, ensuring proper documentation throughout the process
