The Elementary Afterschool Program Sponsor will serve as a key member of the school's administrative team, responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the elementary afterschool program. Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Program Development and Implementation:
- Design and implement a comprehensive afterschool program that meets the needs of elementary students.
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other staff members to ensure seamless transitions between programs.
- Student Support and Services:
- Provide individualized support and services to students, including tutoring, mentoring, and counseling.
- Work closely with teachers and other staff members to develop and implement plans to support students with special needs.
- Communication and Community Engagement:
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians through newsletters, emails, and parent-teacher conferences.
- Promote community engagement and partnerships through outreach, recruitment, and retention efforts.
