Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Physical Therapists to ensure the highest standards of resident care and safety.
- Adhere to departmental protocols, maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Prioritize resident safety in all therapeutic activities.
- Correctly use and maintain safety equipment, particularly during resident transfers.
- Ensure therapy practices comply with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Strictly follow infection control procedures to protect residents and staff.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting therapy space.
- Report safety concerns or equipment issues promptly.
Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered Physical Therapy Assistant license in New Jersey.
- Experience in a nursing home setting is preferred.
