Responsibilities:
- Oversee the finance function for the organization
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Liaison between office and the CPA for end-of-year reporting
- Prepare AIA Contracts
- Help devise strategies to reduce cost and increase profitability
- Approve the bi-weekly payroll
- Approve the bi-weekly accounts payable
- Implement and improve systems and procedures
- Monitor and Forecast cash flow and business trends
- Help Management make timely and accurate decisions about projects
- Keep projects funded and financially on track
- Closely monitor the KPIs and advise accordingly
- Supervise a team of multiple personnel
- Handle all audit requests from insurance and other concerned agencies
- Handle negotiations for insurance claims
- Implement and ensure strict adherence to internal controls and suggest improvements
- Prepare end of the year 1099s, and other returns per regulations
- Sync all financial data with Construction Online in a timely manner to keep PMs up to date
- Align the team to meet company’s goals

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
- CPA certification is required.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Previous experience in the construction industry is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and ERP systems.
- Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and data analysis.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity and commitment to ethical standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $127,000.00 per year
