What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineering Estimator position at ANCHOR FABRICATION MS?
- Estimating is responsible for checking and submitting quotes
- Review quote entry dates daily, quote due date and make sure you are working on the most urgent task first
- Check emails daily for critical requests from customers, CSR's and management. An email response is required same day
- Provide CSR's a quote status on pending quotes every Monday and Friday
- Make sure you have a clear understanding of the scope of work for new quote, if not, contact CSR for more information
- Check pending quotes for missing information. Example: Paint specs, welding specs, packaging requirements, quality requirements, shipping requirements
- Must have 2 years of Estimating experience
- Demonstrated punctual and dependable performance
- Ability to work in high paced environment
