What are the responsibilities and job description for the Team Lead 2nd shift position at ANCHOR FABRICATION MS?
- Must be able to work with other departments and employees to troubleshoot issues (problem-solving) and produce a resolution process (corrective actions) to ensure service outcomes are met
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions; ability to write simple correspondence; effectively communicate information to management and external sources
- Able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; gather and analyze information skillfully; works well in group problem solving situations; uses reason even when dealing with stressful situations
- Follow production schedule ensuring production standards are met
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Will be required to work overtime or weekends as business demands necessitate.
- Train new employees
- Be a positive influence for team members
- Ensure quality standards are met and first piece inspections are followed
- Report end of shift production to manager
- Ensure production is ran to BMT board production schedule
- Report any employee issues to manager in a timely manner
- Ensure employees know their expectations and follow direction
- Must adhere to and follow all safety requirements/policies and maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment

- Must be able to compute basic math problems to include fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- Must have computer skills and general knowledge of production department. Knowledge of Word, Outlook, and Excel is a plus
- Must have a strong drive for results is essential, with self-directed leadership, requiring minimal supervision and someone who thinks outside the box
- Must be able to operate pallet jack, forklift for moving supplies and equipment; may operate bander/unitizer; may operate other equipment as needed
- Must have one year experience in production area
- Must set a good example to motivate your group to perform to their best
- Must have integrity, be honest and humble
