Job Summary
The Commercialization Manager is accountable for leading and coordinating cross-functional activities required to successfully launch new products to market for new and existing customers. This role ensures flawless customer experience, maintains a competitive cost position, and drives end-to-end execution across the commercialization lifecycle. The position requires strong project management discipline and operational acumen to deliver results.
MAIN POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and Own the Commercialization Roadmap: Align product launches with the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), reduce operational complexity, and ensure margin attainment through disciplined execution.
- Lead Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate transparent communication across commercial, supply chain, operations, and NPD teams to ensure alignment and on-time delivery and 1st time success of commercialization projects.
- Ensure Phase Gate Excellence: Drive adherence to the commercialization phase gate process, ensuring all milestones, deliverables, and exit criteria are met at each stage.
- Risk Management and Escalation: Proactively identify and escalate initiatives that fall outside of Anchor’s defined sweet spot criteria, engaging leadership to assess feasibility and trade-offs.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement standardization and process enhancements to reduce lead times, improve quality, and drive customer satisfaction.
- Customer Engagement and Onboarding: Act as a liaison between Anchor and customer, ensuring high-touch onboarding experience and responsiveness to evolving needs.
- Capacity and Demand Alignment: Collaborate with planning, supply chain, and operations to ensure new product launches are integrated into manufacturing plans without disruption.
- On-Site Support: Leads key launch phases or troubleshooting
- Market and Trend Awareness: Stay informed on market trends, customer expectations, and competitive offerings to support innovation within Anchor’s core capabilities.
- Develop and maintain a professional knowledge of new or emerging trends that align with sweet spots.
EMPLOYEE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering/operations/supply chain management/mathematics or similar degree.
- Project Management Certification, Six Sigma or Agile Certifications a plus strong customer orientation.
- Skills in strategic planning, sales planning and experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Good cross functional skills: ability to work through conflicting objectives to achieve desired results.
- Continuous Improvement mindset, detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, to include written and verbal.
- Proficient in PC based applications (such as Microsoft Office products, Windows 10, Smartsheet etc.)
- Travel up to 50% of time.
