Position Summary
A Retention Specialist is the primary contact for patient’s families, ensuring
top-notch service and addressing client needs promptly. This role requires
proactive communication, active listening, attention to detail, and a focus on
client satisfaction and retention.
Retention Specialist Responsibilities:
- Conduct introductory calls and confirm all assigned cases are staffed.
- Maintain internal and external communication related to patient care.
- Perform regular patient check-ins to ensure satisfaction and respond to
concerns.
- Troubleshoot patient issues, coordinating solutions with caregivers and
other departments.
- Focus on retention, maintaining high satisfaction across all cases.
Success Measurements
- Day 1: Complete onboarding, participate actively in training.
- 30 Days: Manage 30–40 clients, with 100% retention on avoidable
cases.
- 60 Days: Handle 60–80 clients, ensuring consistent follow-up.
- 90 Days: Fully manage 120–140 clients independently.
- 1 Year: Support full caseload and assist in training new coordinators.
Retention Specialist Requirements:
- 1 year of sales experience preferred
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and sales skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel
- Expert multitasking & time management skills
- Self Driven with the ability to manage projects by establishing objectives and milestones
- Advanced Customer Service skills
- Excellent written & verbal communication
- Detail oriented
