Weekend DSP Job Overview
As a Weekend Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will support adults with developmental disabilities in daily living activities, community integration, and personal growth. This hands-on role is perfect for individuals passionate about care, support, and service—especially those interested in healthcare, social work, psychology, or human services careers.
Available Shifts:
- Saturday & Sunday: 7am - 3pm
Location:
White Marsh, MD
Responsibilities Include:
1. Assist the Delegating Nurse in prioritizing client’s needs and responding appropriately to those needs.
2. Follow the Plan of Care as written by the Delegating Nurse.
3. Perform all procedures safely.
4. Documents actions and client response to care provided.
5. Actively listen to any concerns expressed by the client.
6. Maintain client’s comfort and well-being.
Qualifications:
1. High School Diploma/GED or College Degree
2. Reliable Transportation
3. Active Certifications/Licenses: CMT License, First Aid/CPR
4. Motivated and passionate to work with clients that have intellectual/developmental disabilities.
5. Experience with behavioral plans is preferred but not required.
