PURPOSE OF POSITION
The Bilingual Recruiting and Onboarding Specialist is responsible for managing and executing comprehensive recruitment and onboarding processes. This role aims to ensure a seamless experience for both candidates and hiring managers. The specialist will focus on creating effective strategies to attract and retain top talent, while also ensuring compliance with organizational policies and standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Recruitment
- Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle
- Manage job requisitions
- Evaluate resumes
- Conduct initial phone screenings and in-person interviews
- Create offer letters and negotiate salaries under the hiring managers direction
- Perform pre-employment checks
- Develop policies and strategies for talent attraction
- Utilize various channels to source candidates including but not limited to job boards, social media, referrals, networking and headhunting
- Collaborate with hiring managers to anticipate and meet staffing needs in line with staffing budgets
- Build and maintain relationships with applicants and former employees
- Research trends in talent acquisition to refine processes
- Participate in job fairs and recruitment events
Onboarding
- Coordinate and conduct new hire onboarding
- Introduce new hires to the company's culture, values, policies, and procedures
- Provide guidance and support to new hires throughout the onboarding process ensuring completion of all new hire employee forms along with access to necessary resources and tools in the HRIS platform
- Process all new hire paperwork in the HRIS platform
- Prepare and distribute onboarding material including uniforms
TRAVEL REQUIRMENTS
- Occasional travel to all Anchor owned locations as needed
- Overnight trips (1 to 2 nights) within Minnesota, Wisconsin and Indiana may be required periodically
- Company vehicle available for travel
- Must have valid driver’s license and personal car insurance
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 4 years of experience in recruitment
- SHRM-CP or PHR a plus
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, conflict resolution and negotiation skills
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems

This job operates within a professional office environment. All vision abilities are required to encompass close-up work. On occasion, employee must be able to tolerate and endure extended seasonal hours and maintain alertness to meet deadlines.
Occasionally while performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to machinery and moving parts, airborne particles including grain dust and hazardous materials or fumes, which may require the use of PPE. The employee may be exposed to adverse weather conditions, extended seasonal hours, high precarious places, and confined spaces. The noise level in some of the work environments may require the use of hearing protection.
