Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist
Sprenger Health Care is a leading developer, owner and operator of senior living communities and services in Ohio and South Carolina.
Responsibilities:
- Provides speech therapy services to residents and initiates referrals when appropriate and in accordance with the Therapy Department Procedures.
- Conducts screening of residents at regular intervals to determine need for intervention/treatment.
- Evaluates residents to obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation. Conducts specialized evaluations as indicated.
- Develops treatment plans by identifying a target list, including short and long-term goals and methods to achieve identified goals.
- Coodinates treatment plan with resident, family and other team members.
- Implements and conducts treatment as outlined in treatment plan.
Requirements:
- Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Certificate of Clinical Competency or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year.
- Assumes responsibility for ongoing continuing education and professional development.
- Current state licensure or license eligible.
