Anchor Marine is growing and seeks to add a Full Time Marine Technician to our service staff. This is a year-round position with the opportunity for overtime. We view our Mechanics as the backbone of our dealership!
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced mechanic or the right eager and motivated trainee. Pay will depend on experience, certifications, and ability. We provide full support in earning various manufacturer certifications. Applicants will need basic hand tools. We provide specialty tools as needed. There is an opportunity for growth in the company along with factory training.
Duties and Responsibilities
- New Boat Prep and Rigging
- Outboard and I / O Troubleshooting
- Accessory Installation
- 12V Accessory and Electronics Installation / Troubleshooting
- Efficient and Motivated Work Ethic
- Interact with customers when needed in a polite and professional matter
- Provide a premium level of customer service
- Reliable Team Player
- Attention to detail is a must.
Workload may consist of new boat rigging, electronic install, troubleshooting outboard motors, inboard motors, and general boat issues. Our Brands include Skeeter, Yamaha, Starcraft, Mercury, Mercruiser, Starweld, Montego Bay Pontoons, Mirrocraft and Minnkota Trolling Motors.
Marine related experience is preferred but not required. Some mechanical background preferred
