Summary: Plans, directs, and coordinates activities concerned with design, construction, modification, and maintenance of equipment and machinery in industrial plant by performing the following duties.
Scope: All Arkansas facilities/operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Assist in the design, planning, and execution of capital projects across facilities in Jonesboro and Paragould.
- Support project documentation, including drawings, reports, and specifications.
- Collaborate with other project engineers and contractors to track progress and ensure timelines are met.
- Participate/lead project meetings, providing updates and assisting in coordination efforts.
- Conduct research, analysis, and feasibility studies as required.
- Help monitor project budgets, schedules, and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications:
- Completed or pursuing a degree in a Technology or Engineering. (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related field).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite; experience with project management software is a plus.
Education/Experience:
Four-year college or university technical degree and four to six years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Related certifications/licenses would be a plus. Be familiar with basic OSHA requirements in an industrial setting as well as mechanical and electrical codes.
Language Ability:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to generate instruction sheets/manuals as necessary at a level that is understandable by machine operators and maintenance personnel. While no alternate language proficiency is required, the Engineering Manager must be able to converse in English and to work with vendors and other industry personnel from other countries that may have very strong accents or limited English proficiency. Ability to generate Capital Authorization Requests, including justifications.
Preferred Skills:
- Basic understanding of project management principles.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks
