We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Controller to join our team and oversee the financial operations for multiple client accounts.

Position Overview:

As a Fractional Client Controller, you will be responsible for managing the accounting and financial operations of several client companies. You will work closely with our clients to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and the implementation of best practices and technology. Your role will be critical in providing insightful financial analysis and strategic recommendations to support our clients' business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Management: Serve as the primary financial point of contact for multiple clients, developing strong relationships and understanding their unique financial needs and goals.
• Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and presentation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.  Ensure timely and accurate reporting and insights.
• Accounting Operations: Manage day-to-day accounting activities of staff accountants, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and payroll processing.
  
• Strategic Guidance: Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to support clients' strategic decision-making and business planning.
• Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve financial processes and technology to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification is not required but consideration will be given.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management, with a proven track record in a controller or similar role. Experience in a CPA firm or with outsourced financial services is a plus.
• Skills: Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Online, Xero, Bill, Dext) and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Leadership: Ability to lead and mentor a team of accountants and finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
• Client-Focused: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple client relationships effectively, delivering high-quality service and support.
