We are looking for someone to help with a large Desktop Imaging project. This position is 100% onsite downtown Indianapolis. Only apply if you are able to work onsite in Indianapolis.
The Tier 1 IT Support Technician provides frontline technical support to end users, focusing on desktop imaging and general troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Perform desktop imaging using deployment tools (e.g., SCCM, MDT) to install and configure standardized operating system images on workstations.
- Maintain and update workstation images to ensure compliance and consistency.
- Prepare, deploy, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
- Document all support activities, solutions, and user interactions in ticketing systems.
- Follow established procedures and escalate complex problems to higher-level support as needed.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with users, providing updates and guidance throughout the support process.
- Maintain familiarity with PC hardware, operating systems, and basic networking concepts.
