Job Description
Purpose of Position
- You will be a key part of the QA Team that will be focused on all areas of testing for the Domino Coexistence and Lotus Notes Migration Solutions. QA Engineers are responsible for all facets of the manual QA process across multiple software solutions with the end goal of releasing high quality software. We expect QA Engineers to develop and execute test cases, carry out the actual product testing, as well as diagnose and document problems that are discovered and document the completion of testing projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop/execute test plans and test cases, including analysis of complex use cases
- Investigate and document discovered problems.
- Interpret functional requirements and functional specifications.
- Perform impact analysis of software changes
- Document process or procedures within QA department.
- Ability to manage a test lab environment and install and configure Domino features and functions independently
- Interact with other departments (e.g., development, support, product management, etc.).
Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge and recent experience with Lotus Domino and Lotus Notes (7.x and newer)
- Strong experience with Domino Administration tools and preferably as a Domino Architect or Senior Administrator.
- Knowledge of Domino Server design, configuration and deployment
- Thorough understanding of web-based technologies and applications.
- Excellent verbal and writing communications skills and be able to work with multiple internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability or interest working in in a deadline-driven environment
- Must be able to work remotely in a productive manner independently
