What are the responsibilities and job description for the PRSS Apprentice position at Anchor Project Center?
Role Description: The PRSS Apprentice primary role is to collect drug screens, coordinate day to day schedules for peers, take clients to appointments or meetings, accountability sheets, and disciplinary forms. This is an intern position to get the 500 hours needed to be a PRSS then become a full-time coach with Anchor. Must be approved by Division of Rehabilitation Services. Inquire for details.
Description:
Work with the clients daily, assisting them in a variety of tasks. The primary goal is to help them navigate their recovery, without relapsing. Evidence based practices indicate that having a sober friend to help them with life’s ups and downs, greatly increases their likelihood of remaining drug and alcohol free. The house manager will be the primary liaison between the housing program and the behavioral health agency.
Duties/Expectations:
· Attend NA/AA or other recovery meetings with the client.
· Report to Program Directors for daily assignments.
· Assist the housing program that we receive referrals from, with contract adherence.
· Supervise clients that have recently relapsed during their crisis phase that the housing program refers to as “last chance contract”.
· Focusing more on their treatment goals than the needs of the sober home assigned

Pay: From $12.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Weekends as needed
