What's the Opportunity?
Anchor QEA is seeking a candidate to serve as the leader of our Data Solutions Group (DSG). The DSG consists of 10 highly-motivated junior, mid-level, and senior-level staff that serve the role of providing end-to-end data services for our full portfolio of projects and clients. These services include : development and deployment of field data collection applications; management and automation of data inputs (field collection, real-time data from in situ sensors, and commercial laboratory data packages); data quality review; reporting of data according to regulatory agency standards; and developing innovative ways to interact with, and interpret data through customized dashboards, visualizations, analytics, and data access portals. The DSG also plays a key role in the development of new data services, including applications of machine learning and artificial intelligence, for Anchor QEA.
Responsibilities :
The DSG Lead position will be responsible for leadership and management of the DSG. The position will provide oversight of the day-to-day operations of the group, including the following :
- Managing staff
- Ensuring efficient workflow and quality control of data for successful project delivery (in collaboration with our project managers)
- Oversight of the management and maintenance of the specialized hardware and software systems used by the group (in collaboration with our IT department)
- Involvement with and oversight of research and development activities for innovating new approaches to data services
- Contributing to business development through identifying opportunities to expand service offerings for projects (in collaboration with our Market Sector Leads)
