JOB DESCRIPTION : COMMUNICATION MANAGER

BRIEF JOB OVERVIEW : Primary responsibilities include the following :
Oversees yearly and vacation rental property policies, systems, procedures & goal achievement plans.
Oversees product & fee required property services (End of Season Reviews, Seasonal Maintenance Reports, Company Management Updates & Yearly Property Audits & Services).
Hires & schedules necessary services for properties, owners & guests.
Creates overall operation reports for Broker review & update.
Weekly study and company updates regarding industry shifts & predictions, pricing & demands, as well as guest hospitality. Oversees shifts to individual property rates & strategies accordingly.
Manages onboarding of new clients & properties.
Manages website and booking software maintenance, content creation & updates (Escapia, Buildium, Airbnb, VRBO, Bookingpal)
Manages updates of yearly property management services, listings, inquiry response, applications, leases, addendums, & application of related fees.
Oversees long term tenant rents, utility billing, dispatch services, maintenance & leasing reports.
May assist Broker with documents and information related to escalated client care & legal needs.
Manages monthly / winter rental pricing, listing, communication and services.
Manages damage & insurance policies, reimbursement, filing & insurance communication.
Manages periodic communication & content creation for advancement in relationship with community, guests & owners (ViBe, VRMA, City of VB, etc.)
Manages email marketing blasts, phone calls and strategic marketing through the year to past guests.
Follows Community Response Initiatives outlined on the Anchor Website / Community & Opportunity involvement as timing allows.
Oversees operational and framework needs for support staff and services..
May oversee yearly renewals of City Zoning Permits & services subject to availability & for additional fees.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Must live in Virgina Beach or surrounding area. Will need to go to properties and be familiar with the area.
Must be self-motivated with the ability to multitask and manage time well.
Must be ready, willing and able to competently advise and assist other staff.
Be organized and detail oriented.
Present a personable and professional manner.
Must thrive in task managment and completion
Must be a great communicator.
Must be able to operate office equipment such as keyboard, copier.
Be able to maintain confidentiality in appropriate circumstances.
Be able to remain calm and courteous in stressful situations.
Must know and follow legal restraints of the position.
