Job Description

We are currently seeking a Full time Experienced Office Furniture Installer. This position entails the installation and upkeep of office furniture and associated equipment.

This is a full time opportunity with 90 day probation period. Bi-Weekly pay and direct deposit are available at the start of employment that carry employee until going permanent. Uniforms are provided. Must have at least 1 year of verifiable office furniture installation experience.

Schedule: 40 hours minimum weekly, must be able to work nights and weekends

Pay: $21-$25 per hour, pay will be evaluated after 90 days.

Duties include, but not limited to:

Complete day-to-day handling, assembly, and moving of office furniture such as: Desks, filing cabinets, chairs, tables, crates and boxes, cubicles, pedestals, and other equipment
Always keeping safety first by wearing protective gear and maintaining prompt communication with supervisors regarding any safety concerns.
Utilizing various hand tools, electric tools such as drills, and other related equipment.
Perform projects including the moving of furniture and related furniture adjustments.
Maintaining an organized and clean work environment throughout the office and warehouse.
Upholding quality work through clear communication and outstanding customer service to all clients.
Notifying management regarding safety concerns in a timely manner.
Lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted.
Maintain clear communication with management regarding possible issues with furniture to avoid client issues.
Perform all moving related tasks as directed.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

At least 1 year experience working in a similar position performing tasks such as assembling/disassembling office furniture.
Experienced and familiar with hand tools and electric drills.
Work extended hours throughout the week and occasional Saturday.
Experience with multiple furniture lines a plus.
Must be able to read and speak English clearly to communicate with clients.
Work with little to no supervision in a team oriented environment.
Detail oriented, always providing outstanding customer service by maintaining a positive demeanor.
Consent to and pass a drug screen.
Consent to and pass a full background check, no felonies or misdemeanors.
Must have own personal transportation and be available during scheduled hours.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to stand, sit, and walk for long periods of time.
Must be able to bend, twist, and move repeatedly.
Able to pull and push up to 70 pounds unassisted.
Able to lift up to 50 pound unassisted.

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 50 per week
