Position: Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Location: Anchor Spine and Joint (Tampa, Lutz, Riverview, Pinellas Park)
Salary Range: $55,000 - $60,000 (experience dependent)

This role is pivotal in supporting our physical therapists and ensuring our patients receive the best possible care.
Job Summary:
The Physical Therapist Assistant will work under the direction and supervision of our physical therapists to provide direct patient care, helping patients to improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities. This position requires a compassionate and dedicated individual who is committed to helping patients achieve their recovery goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy treatments and procedures.
- Report on patient responses and progress to the supervising physical therapist.
- Help patients with exercises, treatments, and physical therapy techniques as directed by the physical therapist.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure all treatments are provided in a safe and professional manner.
- Participate in clinical documentation and administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Current PTA license in the state of Florida.
- Previous experience in a physical therapy setting, pain management experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on compassionate patient care.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and under the supervision of physical therapists.
- Flexibility to work part-time hours and adapt to varying schedules.
