As a Logistics Developer, youll play a critical role in optimizing supply chain operations, reducing costs, and improving efficiency within our global distribution center. Key Responsibilities
- Identify and drive improvements in warehouse operations, implementing new ways of working that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop and refine operational workflows to optimize material handling, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other process optimization methodologies.
- Design and implement optimized warehouse layouts and operational processes to improve productivity and safety.
- Serve as a Project Leader for key distribution center initiatives, including evaluating new investments, conducting feasibility studies, and overseeing implementation and commissioning.
- Benchmark performance metrics and implement tools to measure and enhance business performance.
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth communication and alignment across all distribution center functions.
- Train warehouse employees on new processes, systems, and best practices to drive operational excellence.
- Support the organizations focus on customer needs by developing logistics solutions that improve service levels.
Qualifications & Experience
- 2-4 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, with focus on supply chain
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, and WMS software.
- Hands-on experience with Manhattan SCALE Warehouse Management System
- Solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
