The Front-of-House Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the front-of-house staff in our fast-paced waterfront bar, grill, and event venue. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate front-of-house operations to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate staff on customer service standards and food safety protocols.
- Manage cash handling procedures, ensuring accuracy in transactions and reporting.
- Oversee banquets and events, including, scheduling, set-up, and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in dining areas.
- Address guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Implement food handling procedures to comply with safety regulations.
- Develop schedules for front of house staff to optimize service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure availability.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality management or a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of cash handling processes and financial reporting.
- Familiarity with culinary operations, banquet services, and casual dining environments.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
