The Certified Medical Assistants work as members of the medical / nursing team to provide care to a mentally ill population.What You'll Do
- Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care by assisting clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, and mobility support, ensuring their dignity, comfort, and safety.
- Monitor, record, and report vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration, and oxygen levels, while also observing and documenting behavioral health changes, ensuring timely intervention for client well-being.
- Support medication adherence by providing medication reminders, tracking administration schedules, and assisting with basic treatment procedures.
- Assist in crisis intervention and behavioral health support by recognizing early signs of emotional distress, implementing de-escalation techniques, and working alongside behavioral health providers to ensure a safe and structured environment for both clients and staff.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and infection-controlled environment by adhering to sanitization protocols, equipment cleaning procedures, and PPE guidelines, creating a safe and welcoming space for clients receiving care.
- Collaborate closely with nurses, therapists, clinical associates, and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated, holistic care, ensuring clients receive the physical, emotional, and behavioral support they need to thrive.Good To Know

- Full-Time, Non-Exempt
- Pay Range : $20 - $23 depending on experience. Eligible for up to $6,600 in incentive with the average being $2,500
