Overview
Anchorage Marina and Yacht Club is a private club. Our dining room & bar ("The Quarter Deck") is not open to the public but only serves our membership base.
We are seeking an experienced bartender to join our team for 2-4 days a week. As a bartender, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our members.
We are currently open Wednesday-Saturday for dinner service. After May 1, our hours change to Wednesday-Sunday for dinner service and lunches on Saturday and Sunday. Wage displayed below does not include cash or credit card tips.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Engage with customers to take drink orders, provide recommendations, and ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Monitor customer consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible service.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe environment for staff and guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure timely service
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining proper cash control procedures.
- Stay updated on drink trends and menu changes to provide informed recommendations to guests.
