- Fully Licensed or licensed eligible (LCSW, LMFT, LPC) in Connecticut. ****Partially and Provisionally Licensed Candidates WILL NOT BE considered.****
- A deep sense of compassion and insight into self to better understand how their emotions and thoughts influence patients' treatment.
- Experience with Christian Counseling and/or training and education in pastoral/Christian counseling is strongly encouraged, but not required. Training and supervision in this specialty will be available to the candidate.
- An extensive knowledge, understanding, and practice of and within Christianity and Christian culture.
- A willingness to learn and adapt based on patient and practice needs.
- A desire to continue to develop skills to accommodate patients' diverse needs.
- Maintain a caseload of at least 21 patients (full-time), and 10 patients(part-time).
- Strong organizational abilities to maintain sufficient case notes.
- Work well with a team and under the supervision and direction of the practice owner.
- Strong written, verbal, and emotional communication between patients and leadership
