What are the responsibilities and job description for the Billing Specialist (Excel Specialist) position at Ancillare?
Job Purpose:
Most of the responsibilities of the current job revolve around completing excel spreadsheets based on IT generated reports submitted weekly, compiling the spreadsheet by shipments to each member state, calculating that state’s tax, and submitting the spreadsheet to our Vendor in the UK. It is important to note, this position is not making any tax decisions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ability to manipulate data captured in our ERP from monthly transaction
- Audit data for completeness
- Prepare specific reports based on where product(s) were shipped in the EU (info is based on weekly IT generated reports)
- Send reports to our tax Vendor in the UK
- Vendor will calculate the amount due each member state and will notify the Billing Specialist (BS) of amount due
- BS will immediately remit tax invoices due to finance and department lead for payment
- BS will track payments and mark reports accordingly
Qualifications:
- Must be proficient in Excel
- Must have background in A/P
- Must be organized and able to work across departments to ensure data received is complete
- Deliverables are time sensitive and BS must be able to manage workload based on due dates
- Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in working with Excel
- Must have a finance background with minimum of 2-year degree in accounting, math, finance

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
