Key Responsibilities:
Content Coordination
- Proactively gather content (news, project updates, photos, videos, etc.) from divisional offices for the company newsletter, social media platforms, and case studies.
- Assist in the development and scheduling of engaging content across various marketing channels.
- Translate English marketing content into Spanish accurately and effectively or coordinate this process using translation software or services.
- Maintain a content calendar to ensure timely and consistent communication.
- Perform routine website updates and maintenance of the company website (content updates, image uploads, basic structural changes as needed).
- Support Search Engine Optimization (SEO) efforts through keyword research, content optimization, and link building activities.
- Contribute to the development and scheduling of blog posts.
- Assist in managing the company's social media presence across various platforms.
- Design and create visually appealing flyers and internal communications materials to support HR initiatives and employee engagement.
- Coordinate with subject matter experts within the company to develop relevant content for the company newsletter, case studies or blogs.
- Assist in the planning and coordination of the company's participation in industry events, including registration, booth setup, material preparation, and staff scheduling.
- Attend industry events as required to represent Ancon.
- Utilize graphic design skills to create basic marketing materials (social media graphics, flyers, presentations, etc.).
- Coordinate with external graphic designers or agencies for more complex design projects, including providing briefs, managing timelines, and ensuring brand consistency.
- Assist in tracking and reporting on marketing activities and their effectiveness.
- Provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Manage marketing materials and inventory.
- Track marketing expenses and assist with budget management.
- Assist with the creation of marketing materials, such as brochures and presentations.
- Perform other marketing-related duties as assigned.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in marketing.
- Perform other marketing-related duties as assigned by management, based on evolving needs and priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 2 years in a marketing support or coordination role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluency in Spanish and English, or the ability to manage professional translation processes.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience with CMS platforms (like WordPress).
- Basic understanding of SEO and content optimization.
- Familiarity with social media management and engagement strategies.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Willingness to travel occasionally for events.
- Industry experience in environmental or industrial services.
- Knowledge of Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or other design tools.
