Job Description
As a CDL Program Director at Ancora Education, you will provide leadership for the Commercial Driver's License (CDL) program, reporting directly to the Regional/National Program Director.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide subject matter expertise and actively participate in curriculum development, revision, and implementation, utilizing centralized curriculum development materials.
Develop and deliver face-to-face product knowledge training to Admissions or student groups, providing essential information about our programs.
Engage with potential students, responding promptly to inquiries from Admissions or client staff, and participating in new student orientation sessions.
Lead hiring, assignment, orientation, development, evaluation, and recognition of instructors within the program(s) of study, ensuring a high level of instructional quality.
Convene regular meetings with faculty to discuss program performance, goals, and challenges, promoting a collaborative environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid CDL Class-A License
- 3 years of experience in academic instruction in a post-secondary environment
- 5 years of commercial driving industry experience
- 5 years of experience in a management or supervisory role
- Excellent customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- 7 years of experience in academic instruction in a post-secondary environment
- 10 years of experience in the field of commercial driving
- Working knowledge of federal/state government education regulations
- 7 years of experience in a management or supervisory role
- Previous experience as an academic program director
- Experience in student guidance, or related field
- Working knowledge of federal/state government education regulations
