Electrical Construction Instructor - A.C.T.
Description
Ancora Corporate Training seeks Electrical Trades professionals to join our faculty team. As a faculty member, you'll provide practical hands-on instruction in an engaging learning environment, incorporating innovative teaching methodologies in order to enhance the learning experience of our students and achieve learning outcomes. This would be an ideal position for an Electrical Trades professional or any professional with a background in electrical construction or maintenance or in engineering, or the like.
Preferred Education/Certification Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology; Electrical/Mechatronics/Instrumentation & Control OR an Associate Degree OR, a minimum 7-10 years of experience in the fields mentioned above Documented industry training.
Journeyman or Master Electrical licensure or the ability to obtain such within six (6) months
A thorough understanding of electrical theory, the NEC, and wiring methods
Preferred Experience:
Professional trainer certification from an internationally recognized certification/licensing organization
3 years of relevant industry experience
Teaching experience or industry training experience
Experience with the operation of industrial automation equipment, PLCs, VFDs, and/or systems integration.
Extensive experience in field operations/maintenance activities in the energy domains, including a clear understanding of day-to-day activities.
Industry recognized certifications
Computer competency and proficiency in Windows/Microsoft Office environment.
