The Registrar is responsible for student records whose duties are to plan, organize, and manage all of the activities related to the recording and registration of academic records. Reporting to the Director of Education, this role also includes providing administrative support to the academics department, faculty, and campus operations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Core Values Needed: Integrity, Customer Service, Innovation, & Growth.
▪ Assist in scheduling students into appropriate educational courses.
▪ Assist with processing student status changes related to each student’s education/enrollment
▪ Assist the Director of Education in retrieving students' transcripts to determine possible entry points and schedules for re-entry students
▪Maintenance and safekeep of the student academic files within FERPA guidelines and company policies.
▪ Assist with student activities including orientation and graduation.
▪ Collaborate with administrators to facilitate and improve services to students
▪ Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
▪ Bachelor's Degree from an academic institution accredited by a regional or national accrediting agency that is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education
▪ Experience with data entry, file management, and similar administrative duties
▪ Excellent attention to detail
▪ Proven ability to multitask
▪ 2 years experience in a customer service environment
▪ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
▪ Demonstrated proficiency with the Microsoft office/Google Suite
▪ Ability to manage detailed procedural processes and ensure compliance with procedures among faculty/staff
PREFERRED:
▪ Knowledge of CampusVue software
▪ At least 3 years of related work experience in a related field
▪ Experience working in an academic department in a proprietary school setting
▪ Demonstrated knowledge of federal, state, and accreditation regulations applicable to the proprietary education industry
