Ancora (ATN), formerly End Slavery Tennessee, works tirelessly to nurture survivor healing and strategically combat human trafficking in Middle Tennessee. REPORTS TO: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Tennessee Counter Trafficking Alliance (TCTA) Liaison is a full-time, multi-faceted statewide position responsible for supporting collaborative anti-trafficking work across Tennessee. Bolstering efforts led by the four regional TCTA partner organizations, this position will advance TCTA’s mission by driving statewide engagement around counter-trafficking efforts, network and relationship building, and overseeing the strategic administrative needs of the Alliance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Facilitates collaboration amongst stakeholders in the counter-trafficking sector across Tennessee
- Spearheads the development and implementation of TCTA’s operational handbook and strategic framework
- Fosters strategic relationships with organizations, businesses, and community leaders for the purpose of promoting TCTA’s mission and services
- Works closely with law enforcement, state and local agencies, collaborative partners, and TCTA team members to foster streamlined case coordination and response
- Researches and maintains knowledge of human trafficking data and trends, industry best practices, and initiatives.
- Promotes and coordinates access to TCTA online training modules and the implementation of in-person or regionally-based trainings as needed
- Supports the operational and administrative needs of TCTA through upkeep of correspondence, MOU documentation, TCTA website and awareness materials, and more.
- Elevates TCTA’s visibility by capturing statewide outcomes in survivor services and systems-level support.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Attends meetings in the community, as deemed appropriate and useful
- Represents the TCTA and shares expertise at professional gatherings, community trainings, and other events
- Travels as needed ensuring TCTA’s statewide representation and impact
- Perform other TCTA-related duties or special projects, as directed by supervisor

WORK ENVIRONMENT:Work is carried out primarily in an office setting with intermittent sitting, standing, walking and some light physical activity. Most work is performed while sitting and using the computer, phone and engaged in face-to-face conversation with staff and/or clients. Some car travel and use of personal vehicle is required. This position is a hybrid.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS:
- Possesses the ability to effectively build and maintain collaborative relationships with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds (e.g. – professionals in the social service field, law enforcement, criminal justice, and the general public)
- Holds strong written and verbal communication skills; a persuasive and passionate communicator with excellent interpersonal and multidisciplinary project skills
- Approaches business planning in an action-oriented, entrepreneurial, adaptable, and innovative way
- Brings passion, idealism, integrity, a positive attitude, and a mission-driven, self‐directed work ethic
- Maintains willingness to stay abreast of and use new skills and knowledge brought about by rapidly changing information and/or technology
- Possesses strong computer skills including word processing, data management, financial reporting, presentation development
- Maintains confidentiality, as required by law and in the best interests of survivors, staff and TCTA
- Ability and willingness to work irregular hours as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree or other certificate of continuing education encouraged
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in the field of law enforcement, criminal justice, advocacy, victim service or related fields
- Experience in assistance to or advocacy of victims of human trafficking, domestic violence and/or related programs preferred
- Demonstrated experience with public speaking and community outreach
- Valid Tennessee driver’s license, state-required driver’s insurance and access to reliable personal transportation; ability to travel regionally and occasionally state-wide
- Successful completion of criminal background checks
- Initial and subsequent random drug screening is required as per agency policy.
- A background check is required.

JOB TYPE:
Full-time, typically Monday-Friday 8am-4pm (willing to work some evening and weekend hours, as needed). Travel required.
SALARY AND BENEFITS:
Base Salary: $65,000 -$72,000
*this is a grant funded position

- $150.00/ month for therapy
- 120 hours PTO accrued 10 hours/ month. Eligible after 30 days of employment.
- 96 hours sick leave accrued 4 hours/ pay period. Eligible after 30 days of employment.
