Job Overview:
Ancra International, LLC seeks a qualified Freight Transport Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for the safe transportation of goods across various routes, ensuring timely delivery and excellent customer service.
Essential Duties:
- Vehicle Inspections: Conduct regular checks on vehicles to ensure all mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order.
- Loading and Unloading: Load and unload trucks, or assist others with loading and unloading, adhering to company procedures.
- Log Maintenance: Maintain accurate records of working hours, vehicle service, and repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations.
- Trailers and Equipment: Couple and uncouple trailers, operate material handling equipment, and perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- At least 12 months experience as an OTR truck driver.
- Class A CDL required.
- Experience using ELDs.
- Excellent communication skills.
