The Maize Special Education Cooperative is seeking an Interrelated Instructional Support / High Incidence teacher for the 2025-26 school year. This position serves Andale High School.
Licensed teachers enrolled in a Master's in High Incidence Disabilities degree program may be eligible to work under a waiver while completing the degree. Tuition reimbursement is available.
High Incidence teachers receive four days out of the classroom to focus on IEPs, access to instructional coaches, and focused mentoring.
Maize has a lot to offer teachers new to the district and those new to the profession. All new teachers are matched with a qualified mentor and both the mentor and mentee are supported by our team of Student Support Specialists and Instructional Coaches. New teachers also participate in 8 half day professional development opportunities throughout the school year.
Our teachers are encouraged to continue to learn and grow. We offer a professional learning series that qualifies for college credits.
Maize USD 266 and the Renwick USD 267 work cooperatively to serve students receiving special services.
