Description
Perform basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision.
• Aid with movement and placement of patients.
• Assist patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living.
• Report findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
Document necessary records.
• Keep patient rooms clean, orderly, and maintain medical equipment.
• Perform emergency department specific care/duties as assigned within scope of job.
Qualifications
Education and Experience Requirements: Successful completion of a Patient Care Training program Highly preferred not required.
Minimum six months experience preferred / not required.
Licensure/Certification Requirements: Nursing Assistant Certification preferred. BLS Certification required after 30 days of employment.
