Description
Job Summary
- Perform basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision
- Aid with movement and placement of patients
- Assist patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living
- Report findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff
- Document necessary records
- Keep patient rooms clean, orderly, and maintain medical equipment
- Perform emergency department specific care/duties as assigned within scope of job
Qualifications
Education
- Successful completion of a Patient Care Training program Highly preferred
Licensure/Certification
- Nursing Assistant Certification preferred
- BLS Certification required after 30 days of employment
Experience
- Minimum six months experience preferred / not required
