Emergency Department Registered Nurse
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our team at Aspirus Iron River Hospital. This is a travel nursing opportunity that offers the chance to work in a fast-paced environment while providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department, prioritizing urgent cases and managing patient flow efficiently.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement effective treatment plans, taking into account patients' medical histories and current conditions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring timely documentation and communication with other healthcare professionals.
- Stay updated on the latest medical research, techniques, and best practices in emergency medicine, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the continuous enhancement of our hospital's services and patient satisfaction.
Requirements:
- A valid RN license in Michigan and current BLS certification.
- At least 1 year of experience as an ED Registered Nurse, preferably in a similar setting.
- Strong clinical skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple patients simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing empathetic and compassionate care to patients and their families.
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
