Travel Radiology Technologist Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team on a travel assignment in Kalispell, Montana.
Job Summary
This is a 13-week travel assignment with 40 hours worked per week, 10 hours per shift, and evening shifts. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a radiology department and be proficient in using radiologic equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray, CT, MRI, or ultrasound equipment.
- Prepare patients for exams by positioning them correctly and explaining the procedure.
- Operate and maintain radiologic equipment, including troubleshooting issues and performing routine maintenance.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and patient care.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or specialized modality.
- Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting, preferably in radiology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
