Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, with expertise in budgeting, supervising teams, and ensuring adherence to safety regulations. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to read blueprints and plans effectively.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring all costs are tracked and controlled.
- Supervise construction teams, providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Read and interpret blueprints, ensuring that all work aligns with design specifications.
- Utilize project management software for planning and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and maintain a safe working environment on-site.
- Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery.
- Maintain strong communication with the office, suppliers and employees to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor progress on-site, addressing any issues or delays promptly to keep the project on track.
- Prepare regular reports on project status for stakeholders.
- Reliable Transportation and timely arrival to job sites and meetings.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or similar role in the construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of residential construction processes and building codes.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Strong problem solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong skills in budgeting, supervising teams, blueprint reading, and construction estimating.
- Familiarity with project management tools is preferred.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards in construction environments.
