We’re seeking a Civil Market Leader with 15 years of experience to drive business development, lead project delivery, and grow a civil engineering practice in Austin.
This is a high-impact seller-doer role—blending strategic growth, client relationship management, technical leadership, and team development. You’ll work closely with senior leadership to align team performance with long-term business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead business development and client engagement to grow market presence
- Oversee full project lifecycle: pursuit, proposal, design, and delivery
- Recruit, mentor, and develop high-performing civil engineering teams
- Manage budgets, contracts, and schedules
- Ensure QA/QC, project standards, and client satisfaction
- Align operational goals with market and firmwide strategy
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 20 years of post-graduate experience
- Active PE license required
- Strong business development, team leadership, and project delivery skills
- Post-graduate business education (MBA or similar) preferred
