Entry Level Recruiter

We are seeking a Recruiter to attract, hire and grow a strong talent pipeline. You should also be able to attract candidates using various sources, like social media networks, LinkedIn, networking, career events, as well as previous experience using an applicant tracking system. Responsibilities Include: Source and recruit candidates by using various methods, including databases, social media, networking, job fairs, etc. Screen candidates resumes and job applications. Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates. Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes. Ability to develop relationships with trades schools, colleges and other community resources. Act as a point of contact and build candidate relationships during the selection process. · Develop and implement recruitment strategies and best practices to attract and retain qualified talent. Qualifications: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Individual seeking that next step from a Coordinator role who is motivated to learn or has 1 year of experience recruiting for industrial or trade industry desirable. Some experience in high volume sourcing, recruiting and talent acquisition desirable. Ability to engage and build relationships, internally and externally. Self-motivated, independent starter but ability to work in a team environment. Effective negotiation skills. Highly proactive and internally driven.
