Responsibilities
Will be responsible for purchasing parts, vendor invoice approvals, customer invoicing, miscellaneous filing and inventory control
Interacts with Customers and Technicians in order to provide technical support regarding parts
Compares stock numbers, authorized substitutes, and other listed information with catalogs, manuals, parts lists and similar references to verify accuracy of requisitions and shipping orders
This individual will coordinate transactions related to aftermarket and used parts for internal support
May conduct some sales of parts over the phone and emphasize salable features; quote prices and credit terms and prepare parts orders
Requirements
Prior experience in material handling industry
Must be able to communicate in person and via phone in a professional manner
Strong data entry skills in Microsoft Excel and Word
Strong attention to detail
Must be able to create spreadsheets
Mechanical aptitude a plus
