Account Manager Overview
Purpose:
An Account Manager is the Andersen lead who works with domestic customers (eg, human and veterinary healthcare practices, distributors, researchers, and industrial customers), in an assigned territory, and collaborates with Customer Service, Marketing, and Technical Service to best meet and exceed customers’ expectations in a financially responsible manner.
Reports to:
Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Responsibilities:
o Customer retention
o New customers obtained
o Market and customer mix
o Lead identification and conversion (inbound and outbound)
o Customer contact - email, phone, Teams, and in-person (visits and trade shows)
o Key Operator Training (KOT) and Certification - actual and growth
o Customer support
Minimum Qualifications:
o Fluent in English
o Competence with various business software programs (eg, Outlook 365 and CRM)
o Associate’s degree in business, science, communications, or a related field
o Demonstrated account management success in healthcare
o Contract negotiations and management
o Multi-functional collaboration (eg, Operations, Regulatory Affairs, Shipping, Marketing, Customer Service, and International)
o Demonstrated ability to manage territory finances
o Project management
Preferred Qualifications or Background:
o Bachelor’s degree in business, science, communications, or a related field
o Medical device Account Management
o Customer Service
o Marketing
o Experience with Quality Management Systems

Environment: Climate controlled headquarters and travel as needed
Training: Applicable training rules will be assigned via M-Files (part of Andersen’s Quality Management System). In addition, Account Managers will receive in-person training (eg, markets served, our technology and sterilization solutions, competitors, the selling process, and relevant technologies such as Zoho).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 per year
