What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supply Chain Analyst II position at Andersen Windows & Doors?
Summary: MES configuration. Knowledge of MES (manufacturing execution systems) is preferred Knowledge of configuration systems and bill of material development required.
Responsibilities:
- Development and improvement of reports and data to support day to day decisions in addition to periodic analysis for business strategy improvements
- Visual aided technology (VAT) and visual scrap (VS) process creation for all work centers utilizing MES by reviewing engineering standards and process standards to create the rules.
- VAT/VS creating the images in an excel document.
- Configuring the rules and images in MES
- Long Term: Transition fully to support reporting and VAT/VS for E-Series plant and Supply Chain
Qualifications and Skills:
- 4-year degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- Ability to troubleshoot and document findings
- 1-5 years of experience in project leadership, supply chain, IT, operations or manufacturing/industrial engineering preferred.
- Knowledge and experience in material and information flow systems and processes such as ERP, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and lean methodology.
- Excellent listening, oral and written communication skills
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Experience with change management strategies.
- Project management skills
- Cross-functional exposure preferred
- Ability to travel if required
- Coding experience specific to MES is preferred
- Experience in Powerbi, Tableau are preferred
Compensation;
- Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process. Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn between $69K-107K.
